一般过去时：

结构：

主语＋动词过去式＋其他

常见时间标志：

例：

I visited the new library last Saturday.

现在完成时：

表示过去发生的动作对现在产生的影响，或者从过去开始并与现在有联系的动作或状态。

结构：

主语＋have/has＋动词过去分词

常见词：

already 已经

just 刚刚

yet 已经；还

ever 曾经

since 自从

for 持续……

例：

Great changes have taken place.

I have already finished my homework.

注意：

有明确的过去时间，如 yesterday、last year、two days ago，一般使用一般过去时。

强调过去发生的事情与现在有联系时，常使用现在完成时。

3. Unit 2 Inspiring People

本单元主要学习“令人敬佩的人”，要求能够介绍人物、主要成就以及值得学习的品质。

常用词汇和短语：

4. It is / was ... to do ... 句型

It is / was＋形容词＋for sb＋to do sth

通常用来说明做某件事情怎么样，形容词主要修饰事情。

例：

It is important for us to study hard.

对我们来说，努力学习很重要。

It is / was＋形容词＋of sb＋to do sth

通常用来评价某人的品质或行为。

例：

It was brave of him to help others.

他帮助别人是很勇敢的。

5. It is / was ... that ... 句型

可以用来表达对某件事情的评价。

例：

It was amazing that he never gave up.

令人惊叹的是，他从未放弃。

三、考前总结

Unit 1重点掌握“过去与现在的变化”，尤其注意一般过去时和现在完成时的区别，以及used to、since、for、already、yet等词的使用。

Unit 2重点掌握人物介绍、人物品质和成就，同时记住It is/was ... for sb to do sth和It is/was ... of sb to do sth的区别。

做题时看到明确的过去时间，先考虑一般过去时；看到since、for、already、yet以及强调过去对现在的影响时，重点考虑现在完成时。
