Have you ever wondered what it is that makes some people __26__ and others not? What do they do __27__ to guarantee them long-term success?
I've studied a whole host of successful people and I've __28__ a few things that they have in common. And today I'm going to __29__ with you one key secret to long-term success.
Out of all the habits that successful people share, this is definitely one of the most crucial ingredients for success, yet it's something that most of us are not __30__.
Here's the news flash: Successful people understand that things __31__ time.
In a world __32__ we are taught to love instant gratification, most people just don't take the time to plan. The rapid pace of technology has only fueled unrealistic desires of __33__ internet success stories, and this is where a lot of us go wrong.

The truth is that there are __37__ overnight success stories; there is only long-term planning and a lot of hard work! If you want success, you have to commit to it, and this involves planning for the next few __38__, not just the next few weeks.
To put this theory into perspective, I've come into contact with some __39__ who set 100-year plans. That's right; while most of us can __40__ put together a plan for the week ahead, they are busy planning the next century!
Get started with your long-term planning. If you have a new business idea or a project you have always wanted to put into __41__, it might be time to stop what you're doing and put aside some time to plan for the future. Here are a few __42__ to help you on your way:
If you ever dream of "making it overnight", put a __43__ to this thinking. It's unrealistic and will only jeopardize your attempts at true success.
Make peace with the fact that it takes time to become a success – if it was really that easy, everyone would be successful!
Put together a long-term plan. Be __44__ about your goals and what it really takes to succeed. When the going gets tough, know that every single other success story went through what you're going through. You are not alone.

Sina Weibo, one of the country's most popular micro-blogging sites, has launched a paid service. For a 10 yuan ($1.57) monthly fee, users get a membership on their Sina Weibo accounts.
According to Xu Yuanyuan, a member of the marketing team at Sina, the move is to guarantee a more convenient and safer environment for users. But despite the company's efforts to increase income, it seems that most of its 300 million users still prefer the free version.
The premium membership (高级会员) plans, announced by the company on Monday, brought about negative comments from its users.
"The current service is good enough for me", said a Beijing-based micro-blogger. "I don't really need those value-added services and it might be a waste of money. I might consider paying for it if some more features are added."
Dong Xu, an analyst with consulting firm Analysys International, said that Sina shouldn't expect a great increase in income brought by the new services. The free services are enough for most users, Dong said. "The company has been making attempts at different profit models since last year. A potential source of income could be gaming. Games and advertisements are so far the two biggest sources of income." she said.
Other micro-blogging service providers have not yet followed suit. Fang Gang, vice-president of rival Sohu, said via e-mail on Tuesday that Sohu's micro-blogging service will never charge users. "It's good news for us. Users can come to our website if they have to pay for services (at Sina)." Fang said.

Nothing about Victor Oladipo seems to promise a career in the NBA: his skeptical father seldom showed support and his college team was not very successful. But the 21-year-old came into view from all these uncertainties to sign with the Orlando Magic as the second pick in the draft (选秀) in June.
Rather, Oladipo proved his value in the 2013-14 NBA preseason, which ended on Oct 28, by leading all rookies (新手) in scoring. Bleacher Report placed him No. 1 on their list of top 10 rookies for his "elite athleticism, killer work ethic and willingness to do whatever the team asks".
Oladipo is also proof that hard work pays off. The Washington Post reported that he used his key card at the gym at Indiana University so much for training that he wore it down and had to get a replacement.
"He never takes a day off. He has made this his life's calling on the court," his college coach Tom Crean told Yahoo Sports.
However, just a few months ahead of the NBA draft, the final game of his college basketball career saw Oladipo do an excellent job and still be let down by the rest of his team. After the loss, "I just cried my eyes out," Oladipo told Yahoo Sports. "My chest was hurting and my lungs were hurting."
While basketball means the world to Oladipo, the sport has strained (使紧张) his relationship with his father.
"Sports were a hobby in his eyes," Oladipo told ESPN. "He's not going to come out and watch me play ... but you're just a kid and you just want him to be there."
But Oladipo revealed to USA Today last month that his relationship with his father "is getting better, slowly but surely".
One sign of that came on draft night, when Oladipo saw what he'd never seen before: his father, in the stands, giving him a round of applause.
A. many people supported Oladipo as a professional player B. Oladipo performed well in his college team C. few had imagined Oladipo would be a sports star D. Oladipo's father didn't think he was a good boy
