Friendship Lights Up My Life

My best friend is Lily, a 14-year-old girl with big eyes and long curly hair. She loves reading and playing the piano, and she’s always ready to help others.

Last term, I failed my English exam and felt really upset. Lily noticed my sadness and spent her free time helping me review lessons. She explained difficult grammar patiently and shared useful learning tips. With her help, I made great progress in the next exam.

To me, friendship is like a warm light in life. It gives us courage when we’re down and makes happiness double. True friends care for each other and grow together. I’m so lucky to have Lily as my friend, and I’ll cherish our friendship forever.
